While CLCAS has the equipment and trained staff to provide high quality care to our region, equipment wears out, and newer technology can help us do a better job. Below is a list of new and replacement equipment that will help us serve you best.
Used to deliver fluids and medication to emergency patients, CLCs current intravenous pumps will need to be replaced soon.
Fire, Police, and Emergency Medical Services are currently converting from analog to digital communication systems. The analog portable radios at CLCAS will need to be replaced by 2023.
Emergency Medical Personnel are constantly maintaining and upgrading their skills through continuing education programs. A life-like patient simulator allows our team to physically practice their skills treating cardiac arrest and other critically ill patients.
Often our EMTs and Paramedics are called at home to respond to a local emergency. By providing them with their own portable AEDs, they can be first responders, arriving ahead of the ambulance and providing timely, life-saving, cardiac care.
Our standard EMS equipment bags are used on almost every call and need to be replaced on a regular basis.
